GPAN Training

Wednesday, February 26th- April 1st 2020
Picture
At the beginning of each year, GPAN offers a free six-week training to young people who are looking to join this enthusiastic team.
We cover topics such as gender equality, respectful relationships, gender stereotypes, responding to disclosures and much more.
Our new members gain the skills and confidence in speaking up about these important issues and develop the tools they need for promoting gender equality and preventing violence against women in their community. We were joined by guest speakers from Victoria Police, Women's Health in the North, the Northern Community Legal Centre and more!

On December 4th, we wrapped up GPAN for 2019. We celebrated 5 years of GPAN, the achievements of the 2019 team and the winners of the Eurydice Dixon Gender Equality Champions Award.
Congratulations to Aj and Aria (pictured above), the two young recipients of this year's award. You are both fearless leaders in gender equity and are making a true difference in your community!
We can't wait to watch you take on the world!

TRIVIA NIGHT & ART SHOWCASE

Friday, September 6th 2019
Picture
We raised over $1,000 at our annual trivia night in memory of Eurydice Dixon and all the other women who have lost their lives to gender based violence since Eurydice's passing. Our Trivia Night & Arts Showcase was a sell out event! We were lucky to hear and see the talents of some amazing local young musicians and artists, and just had an all round awesome night! Thank you so much to all that came and enjoyed the evening with us.
