GPAN team member
I’m an international relations student, avid Netflix watcher and lover of all faux fur clothing.
What do you love about GPAN?
I love that GPAN is for young people, by young people. I think a huge problem with community activism is that it’s highly vulnerable to becoming a closed network, with the same people involving themselves in many different causes and failing to engage with the outer community. GPAN tries its hardest to avoid this, and encourages young people from all situations to become involved.
A bit about you
My thought process on any given day consists of four things. Food - I love exploring all the veggie options this city has to offer. Travel - I’m pretty much obsessed with new cultures and pretty beaches. TV - I’m that person that has seen everything. Twice. And lastly, social issues - I’m passionate about a lot of things, especially refugee/asylum seeker issues and gender equality.
Where do you want to be in five years?
I don’t really like to think about where I’m going to be in the future because you never know - I simply hope I am happy and healthy, working in a fulfilling job with a decent amount of annual leave!
