About
Merhaba! I’m currently a Girls Circle Facilitator at Banksia Gardens Community Services and Kenley Court Neighbourhood. I facilitate a group of young local girls from various backgrounds. I love what I do since my passion is to empower and support others. I am also a moon lover and fascinated by soul, depth and intellect. What do you love about GPAN? GPAN does many things as it brings likeminded people together to discuss things that matter and through these discussions we create a movement to bring about real change. What I love most about GPAN is how I can transfer the knowledge and tools I learn into the Girls Circle program and this is something I have incorporated. We will see more activities that challenge gender stereotypes and through these activities we hope to empower these young girls. A bit about you I’m a free spirited Muslim Turkish girl who enjoys Philosophy, Jyotish Astrology, History, Art and Music. I’m currently studying a Masters of Social Work at the University of Melbourne and am part of the Banksia Family. It took me awhile to figure out what my true purpose was but I eventually I got there and now I’m excited for the journey ahead. Where do you want to be in five years? In five years time I will be a qualified social worker, traveling the world with my soul partner and presenting on Ted Talk. Eventually Oprah Winfrey will invite me on her Super Soul Conversations Show and life will be complete! |
